JE piston ring gap for turbo

JE piston ring gap for turbo in the instructions it says to gap my top ring at .020 and bottom ring at .022... but i see guys on here gapping them much larger... any reason why? should i re-gap mine larger? i dont have pistons in yet but now would obviously be a good time to do this.

I don't know if there is any difference in turbo or roots but I gapped mine at .023 top, and .025 second, .015 oil rails. So far so good, only 11# boost. Kim Barr racing prepped my block and the rings sealed good.
je says bore X .005 for top and bore X .0055 for 2nd which is kinda tight to me
weisco says bore X .0065 for top and bore X .007 for 2nd which more better i think
i use cheap cast iron rings and cast pistons and run 'em at .026 top and .028 2nd

Interesting since Wiseco and JE are the same company. 0.026 & 0.028 is probably pretty good recommendation, I might go 1 or 2 thousands tighter for a 4.005 bore.
I did 22 top and 24 bottom . 4.006 bore and stock stroke on a LQ4 block with LSA heads with a Novi 2200 with the oil slinger removed so I can spin the fuc% snot out of it . Shood be good to20-24psi
