Default PT88 and 60E = 9.1 @158

My buddy Graig and I had very similar builds for a while. He upgraded to a Holley and a Thompson Motorsports 370 and both look to be doing work.

He took it to our local track and hit about 21-22psi. Kept getting better each time and ended up with a best of 9.1 @ 158 off the footbrake. Yes it's a 4L60e, no it didn't cost $4,000. HIs car has full interior including HVAC, back seats, etc. Weighs right at 3,800 lbs with him.

Badass setup and times! I am going back to the track hunting 9's next time out going from 17-18psi to 21 psi, but with a smaller 7875 turbo. I'm also running on a rpm 4l60e. Also heavy pig with full everything lol.

Is that an intake in the headlight or am I just seeing the inner light?

Biggest secret to the trans is the Sonnex Drum. Prevents the flexing of the clutch packs which is usually where these die: 2-3 WOT. Trans could be duplicated for 2500-3000 depending on if you wanted the billet input AND output shaft.

Converter is extremely tight, buddy can only footbrake it to 2600. Not spinning just can't get enough RPM.

its a 3.5 rear and a 29" rear tire.

Sent out converter for a restall. Just got it back and re-installing.

Sent trans out to be inspected as well. Came back perfect, builder didnt have to replace a single thing. Yup, several low 9's multiple 9's in heat. Several no prep runs, 20+ dyno runs at over 850+whp. Street driven during that time....

Good ol' 60e.

Those are amazing times on a 4l60e. My 60e has been in for 4 years at 600-700+rwhp. Now in the 800+rwhp range. It should run 9's next time back on 20psi.. Hopefully she keeps going strong!
