Got the firewall and front clear coated with a crystal clear flat. Looks pretty good. It was already painted but weather didnt allow me to clear coat. The spots on the firewall are shadows. Color is even.

So what do you think of the 2 color paint job. The funny car cage is flat black, the rest of the cage is Ingot silver. I am going to pinstripe the area where the two come together.

Honestly, I think the silver looks bad ***! Not sure on the flat black. It's a preference thing. Whatever blends into the interior is my preference. Overall looking great! Keep pressin on!

The bar protectors will be the opposite colors. Black on the silver bars and silver on the black. The interior will be black, too. Carpet, headliner dash and console all black or carpet and headliner grey. Havent decided on those yet.

That's up to you, those colors are pretty different. Don't rush the decision if you are not sure.
Someone asked me the other day about my paint/wrap plans for my mostly yellow '67 Camaro. I was like... I have no idea. I'm not going to even consider that until it runs 8.50s. I will say I keep coming back to a light blue in my head, lighter than Lemans Blue.

I would be happy with either. It is hard to get a paint appt with a reputable guy who does good work AND doesnt take months because he is working on 5 different cars. I have that appt so I need to sh@t or get off the pot so to speak. If it comes to a coin flip whatever. Either will do and go fine with my interior.
