Got the engine back in, now I can make some progress-minor problem, I am using a plastic mock up 4L80E, I forgot the rear cover bolts hit the thick part of the case, so I cant bolt it up tight to the engine. Prob rather have a real case in there anyway just to make sure nothing changes after mocking it all up. Prob just rem the bolts temp. until I gut a spare case, to heavy trying to wrestle one in comp. w/o being on the lift.

A little more progress, got the lower control arms, installed the springs-not my fav. job, a whole lot of 4 letter words needed to get it done., lol.
Anyway, its back on the ground, so now I can plumb the intercooler since I know where the wheel is in relation to the wheel well-hopefully there's enough room. Got my shorter pushrods, so I can reduce the preload, the intake valve was closer to the piston than I liked, this will give me a little extra. Started on the 4l80E again, another of not one of my fav. jobs, lol. Painted my brackets for the alt, PS, painted the PS pump, trying to figure out how to clean up the ugly alt. Next i'll rem. the front seat, start installing the Holley HP, the trans controller, run wires back for the pumps, etc.

Took the seats and rubber mat out to run wires, cleanest floors I have seen in a while, lol. Started on the IC'er, got one side done, waiting on parts for to finish. Its a Procharger IC'er, they rate it for 825 HP, I have used one before, works OK-it was $200 shipped, so why not, lol. Got the Griffin radiator, now I can meas up for hoses, get some fans. Finished up the mount for the fuel pumps, filters. Made up a mount for the Holley 3.5 screen, and the trans controller. Maybe tomorrow I will move it onto the lift, tired of laying on my back, lol.

Making a little more progress, finished the brake lines, bought a couple radiator hoses that looked close, the bottom one fit with minor trimming, the top on I said the hell with it and cut it in half. A little trimming and using a 1 1/4" coupler and it will work fine. Pretty much the rear fuel setup is done, couple 180's and a 90 deg to the filter, but with #12 stuff should be no rest. Hopefully tomorrow the IC'er plumbing will be done. Having to stop and paint every part is a PITA, but worth it in the end. Still undecided on whether to run #8 or #10 for the feed, prob 10 is overkill for what I am doing, i'll work on that.

Making a little progress everyday, brake lines all run, might add some juice tomorrow and look for leaks. Intercooler is all plumbed, wastegate pipe installed, 4" downpipe is down to the trans. This time I angled it away from the engine a little so I could get to #8 plug easier. Rebuilt my 80E trans, just waiting to dyno it at my buddies shop. Kind of nice to know if it works before install. Still have to order fuel lines, fittings, prob finish up that next week, if not b4. Pretty much leaves me all March just to wire it up, install the front clip, hopefully fire it up.

Making really good progress. Do you know which specific hose you used for the lower radiator hose? Part number or anything like that? Thanks
