Default On3 Billet 7675 BMF

I haven't really looked at the chinese Turbos, but this one has caught my eye a bit - the bad ***** f'er. It's a larger 75mm turbine housing .96 A/R T4 3" v-band with a billet 76mm compressor, 4" inlet and 3" outlet. Also is plumbed with the 1/8" NPT and can be coated.

Price is creeping up closer to the Turbonetics and Comp journal bearing stuff at 899. If this had a ball bearing for that price, it'd be hard to beat.

But On3 claims it's doing 830rwhp at 15psi on a Coyote. That seems really good.

What do you guys think? I was really leaning toward the Comp Billet 7875 BBB deal Huron sells. It's slightly larger T4 1.15 A/R with the 3" v-band on the turbine and 4" inlet and 3" outlet on the compressor (so an upgrade say vs a Turbonetics 7875).

Coyote's also have really good VE compared to a stock 5.3. So I don't doubt it's making that much power. A friend of mine made 850whp with an s475 Coyote, thru manual trans, on 14psi.

If you really want a Chinese T4 turbo then I would look at the VS T4 80mm with the 88/96 exhaust wheel. Slightly more expensive but will go a LOT further then the 75mm wheel on the turbo you mention. If price is a concern just get the 75mm compressor with the same 88/96 wheel, still be better then being choked by the 75mm exhaust.

I can't imagine that this 7675 bmf is much if any better than the billet 7875 that is considerably cheaper. I'd go with a borg variant if some sort.

If u keep an eye out u can likely get a deal on a Huron ac V3 kit from them with their new in house billet 7875 turbo that's a nice unit that's capable of big power.

hijack,

you think the VSR t4 stuff with the 75mm turbine wheel in the larger A/R's is gonna do much to help with back pressure?

looking to replace my 7875 when i swap my 6.0 back in place of the 4.8

I just read that the compressor cover is larger on this unit vs the 78/75?

It is. Here's a video comparing.

The issue is the turbine is the same size. Needs more turbine.

Btw, Huron seems to be using the same cover - it's a 3" outlet vs the 2.5" outlet typically seen on these size turbos.

The smaller covers are more like a turbonetics t series and the larger are like a pte h cover.

I was just checking out there instagram looking for more info on the BMF and noticed they are coming out with s400 style turbos soon. Not to suprising right? Also saw on there they are making a 94 and 106 mm. Supposed to be out in december.

You cant compare to LS. The new Ford junk is smaller, and much more efficient than LS junk

If your replacing anyway why not step up in wheel size? I don't think the AR itself is going to help all that much.

You don't need to, that's the beauty. They have the larger wheels in a T4 housing now.

im running the On3 7875 .96 on my 5.3 and pretty happy with it, pulls hard, especially if your boosting over 15psi, thats where it seems to really shine... not a bad unit for $400 IMO
