After pulling the plugs #1 hole seemed pretty lean, if it has been #7 I wouldn’t have thought much of it, but #1 isn’t normally the lean cylinder. So I sent the injectors off today to a local guy to have them flowed, better safe than sorry. No chance it’s a distribution issue considering I’m using the factory rail still is it?

i had the stock thermostat, it was running around 210-195, fluctuating back and forth. Would get you round 215-220 at the end of a pull. Now I have no thermostat and I set the fans on at 190 and off at 180 and at idle I’d sits at 180-190 with fans cycling, cruising it runs around 170-175

Been playing around round with another cluster I have, some of my gauges don’t work and they fine in either cluster so I’m thinking about doing something like this with the gauges on either side

Finished my harness tonight, got rid of all
of the engine bay wiring, and made the system a stand alone. I removed 140# out of the car, and the engine bay should look amazing now. All of the weight reduction has been up on the front of the car, and firewall
area so it should help with traction a little also. Started putting the car back together tonight!

Thank you very much! Placed an order for a ptc single disk yesterday, and I’m ordering the new cam next weekend. Then I’m going to take it to be dyno tuned I think. I haven’t done much boosted tuning, and I’m starting to exceed my comfort zone. So better safe than sorry. I’m just trying to decide if I should switch to e85 first or leave it pump gas

It’s a 45 minute drive for me to get some also. My delema is I don’t want to add meth, and I think to get to the power levels I want to see, I’m going to need to run racegas or meth. I think with e85 I’ll be fine with my current setup, I’ll probably add a second 450 on a Hobbs if I do and maybe turn up the base pressure to 70# to get some more out of these injectors. I’d like to end up around 800whp or whatever these turbos max at. Not on this ls1 of course.

I thought about just ordering a 55 gal. drum of racegas or e85r. But I'd hate to be out driving somewhere and need gas and be **** out of luck. I bet those turbos would make 800whp on a LS1, not on a SBE though lol. I'm hoping to make close to 700 on this 5.3 of mine. Really I just hope it runs 9s.
