thinking about doing that myself. I still want to drive home from the track in the dark tho. Let me know what you think of the light output in the dark.

I’ve just got $15 eBay lights in it now. They are pretty decent, I would say they are about what the car had before on dims. Drove it last night night and was happy.

Right on, interested in how you're going to mount the headlight cover. I've thought about welding round bar to them and then to a plate that is drilled for bolts so that they are removable. sux about the head gasket

I’ll post pictures! Would have had them swapped tonight but my dads nova is here on the lift and we are putting in all his double adjustable Viking coil overs for cash days.

Head gaskets are out, block is cleaned up. Of course my “over night” shipping from summit that a placed on Saturday still isn’t here. I went with the 5.0 h/o /5.7 gaskets, hopefully it will be here tomorrow. Need some tuning time before this weekend :/

Also, think I found my problem with the car wanting to run warm. When I did the head gaskets I pulled the thermostat housing to check things out and previous owner had removed the thermostat, and didn’t block the passage between the the pump halves, so it had an 1.250 hole leading from the hot side of the pump directly into the pump feed, constantly recirculating hot water. So we will see how it runs now that that is taken care of
