How much psi where you running? 5000 elevation and driving it 120 miles, sounds like a strong car! Did you get your cooling issue resolved?

11.8 was 8# and 11.5 and 11.4 was on 11#, I trapped 102 in the 1/8 on the 11.48 pass but I lifted early because I saw a little smoke, yes I did! Previous owner evidently had removed the thermostat, And did not plug the passage between the two halves of the water pump when he did. So I fixed that and now it stays cool as a cucumber.

I’m thinking I may put in my cam and do a converter now, if like to see what I can make this thing do. Thank you! Very very pleased with its performance so far!

So we will see how it runs now that that is taken care of
do you have any pics of this? What did you use to plug the hole?

Damn thats scooting for the mods and the budget, id love to see what a cam regrind would do. I remember matt from sloppy picked up like 10mph over a stock gen 3 cam in one of his fairmonts with a baby triple 12 cam too.

Thanks man! You’ll get to find out, I dropped the k member today to do a cam swap, but most importantly fix all of this damn engine bay wiring and get rid of it! Can’t stand how ugly it is. Making some interior changes also while I’m at it.
