I've seen several LS1's make about 800 rwhp on 93 octane, bigger cube motors have made over 1,000. Not sure if they were VS gt35's or Garretts and also unsure of mods (internals, cam, heads, etc). I've also seen a few 5.3 motors run high 8's so they were making some steam with those turbos. I'd be willing to bet with you having forged internals, the right cam/converter combo, plenty of fuel pump/injectors and e85 with it turned up full tilt, it wouldn't be too far stretched to say you could make 1,000 rwhp? If not, probably pretty damn close? Maybe 850-900? This is all just me speculating of course, I could be way wrong lol. Just read a thread the other day where a guy made 750 at 22 psi on a 5.3, with twin chinese gt35's he said. It will be interesting to see what you make. It'll be no slouch that's for sure!

i really don’t think I’ll make it that far, I’ll be absolutely extatic if I reach 800whp, but I’m thinking it will be more like 700whp. I just don’t think these turbos will have enough umph to get me there. Should mention it’s a mustang dyno also.

Ported ls6 heads, ls2 Intake, stage 3 twin turbo cam, good converter, roughly 9.5:1 comp, 5.7

I think it will make more that 700, definitely should make at least 800 full out. I was told I could make 650-700 on my 5.3 with the same turbos, I don’t truly know though. But on a mustang dyno, I can see that being a problem lol. Maybe someone a little more knowledgeable will chime in.

Hopefully you are right! I looked and looked for months trying to find results for the turbos that I have and I haven’t found diddly on the exact turbos I have. About all I could find was eBay t4 cast wheel versions.

Same here, that's mostly what I find is the cast t4 ebay turbos. But I have come across several t3 gt35 clones, not VS racing turbos but figured it was close. Not many documented VS racing gt35 t3 turbos out there, yours is the first in depth build I've seen. I definitely haven't seen any with the VS billet twins/1.06 a/r like I'm going with.

Bought an ARB to install since I’m not running a front or rear sway bar. Car rolls hardddd over on the pass side wot, this should do the trick.

You should do a detailed right up on the install. With pics and any issues or any tips along the way. We have very similar chassis setups being turbo 4l80 8.8. That ARB is a steal at $210

Started tearing stuff apart, intakes off, water pump radiator etc. also did some looking on the mounting of the new arb when it gets here, looks like I’ll mount the cross bar under the diff, arms forward and the. The links up to the frame rails, should fit perfectly! I got the 36” length bar thank god, not the 24” bar

Coming together nicely! Unfortunately I have to scrap my twin turbo G body project because the motor in my truck is screwed. So I'm putting the 5.3/th400 from my Monte Carlo into my truck and it's going to be a big single turbo street truck with a/c and power windows lol. I'll be following your build because I'm excited to see what those twins are going to do!
