it is! first time i went out i got hooked bad haha, once i get things settled and car good to go i defiantly plan on getting more involved and getting out to do more courses, i could only do about 3-4 laps before i started overheating, so this go around i have coolers for pretty much everything now and have water cooled turbos and larger radiator, hopefully keep temps down now.

Got a few more important things figured out. Was able to email hp tuners and get some parameters added to my tune so now I can stop a 1-2 upshift with the shifter In D1. Before if I spun and pedaled it would engage the trans brake :/

also I needed a way to reliably go from first to third without having to stop it in third myself. I had the stock shifter and it was a pain trying to do t brake, 2 step, make sure I shifted from first instantly so it didn’t engage the brake, etc. I was playing with my old quarter stick from the iroc and realized if you squeeze the lever in first it then shove forward it skips second and goes to 3rd directly! So winning!

yeah it definitely is haha, ive nuked a shaved LS6 intake that year out there, constant heat soak plus vacuum then boost then vacuum i think took its toll, blew the bottom flat part off/separated from the back of the intake. then the obvious wear and tear on tires and wheel bearings and all suspension things lol. Drag racing is cheaper haha

Got s bunch of stupid little sheet done. 6x9’s installed in the speaker holes behind my head, both mirrors were broke and sagging, car looked like a sad puppy. Replaced them, put all the interior back in, changed seats, Ive just got a little bit of **** to do here and there and she’s ready to rock! Going to pick up. Set of tubes for my new slicks I guess, stupid expensive nonsense :/

Looking forward to the numbers! Are they merely dyno'ing what she'll make or will they be doing some tweaking of the tune to see what they can get out of her?

they are doing a full tune. It’s The Shop Inc, same shop that tunes Beater Bomb, Sketchy Very, 1320’s vette, etc! We are going to turn it up till it gets to 800rwhp if the turbos will support it.

If it makes 700hp on this dyno I’ll be very happy. If it makes 800 I’ll freak out 😂. It’s a very stiff reading mustang dyno

Love these threads - will be watching closely! Hope you get what you're shooting for.

My dyno day is a week from now and I'm already freaking out.

will do! He should be working on the tune now, and then he’s supposed to call me for the power pulls and I’m going to go watch and get videos!

500whp on 10#, thought it might do a little better than that but I gotta keep in mind it’s a mustang dyno.

Well shitty day. Just got the fueling and timing dialed in. Started making pulls, got to 575 on 18# and a diaphram let go. Let out at 6400 and it was still climbing, converter is flashing 5k. Was spinning some on 18#.
