Default Huron Speed TT turbo sizing

Looking at picking up the huron speed TT kit. Looking at different size turbos compared to cost of course. Current setup is a forged 346, but will be moving to a 370 within a year and would like to buy a set of turbos that would work for both. I was really feeling the VS racing 66/73s but told they would not fit the kit without a lot of work. Started looking at precision 6266s, but think they will fall short on the 370 and at 1k a piece that's a steep price to have to try to sell and upgrade later. What would you suggest? 6766 precisions? Would really like to keep the cost under 1k for each turbo.

Any reason why you have to have twins?

Sounds like an improperly specd setup if you didn't like the turbo setup.

No, I just did not like it. Made over 800whp on a Stock long block ls1 on E85. People normally only do singles because they are cheaper and people can’t package a twin as well as a single.

i just didn’t. And I already had. What’s the point of doing the same thing over again. I don’t understand how this pertains to the question in the first post?

I disagree about why people normally do singles. Singles are more efficient than twins. I'm interested in what you sisnt like about the single that you think twins will solve? Perhaps you should be looking at a blower setup instead.

How can you ask advice...then say something will fall short, when there has been no mention whatsoever of goals or expectations ?

Haven't figured out how you quote partially yet, so forgive me. But when I get around to installing a real rear end, I will drive to the track (two hours away) run the number...... then drive home with the AC on.... stereo blasting... in the heat of summer. It doesn't take spending 90k to run 9s reliably while driving a car wherever you'd like. I will be sure to film the pass as well.

Kit will fit any standard T4 turbo set-up such as Precision, Turbonetics, Comp, etc. S300's or S300 clones will not fit as their frame is unique and it will throw off alignment and fitment.

Keeping this on target per the OP's questions, to better help spec some twins, what are your goals for the set-up? Billet 6266s will make 1000+ rwhp on a 370

Even at the same "T" size, the piping can be offset just enough to fubar any kit if you deviate from OE design specs. I have spent countless hours reshaping a downpipe just because a kit was made for a 60mm and the guy bought a 67mm. It hit the frame, was too close to the sparkplug wires, interfered with the ABS module, etc. No kit works with all "insert size here" turbos.

FYI, I am just getting my project on the road, but I have a Thompson 370 fed by Twin Precision 62/66s on a Huron Twin Kit. Huron recommended those turbos to me also and I am more than happy with initial results. Just doing initial dial in tuning, but my car made 960rwhp on 19lbs on a conservative dyno. Spools instantly and plenty of turbo to make great top end power.

Any kits out there that allow you to run a pair of precision 6766's and keep the A/C? Is it even possible? Pair those up with a LSX block 388 with 6 bolt heads and I'm thinking you can run mid 8's all day at full weight and still be reliable.
