Thanks fellas.

Got a few things ordered, ended up going with Magnaflow #12279 which is a straight through design 3” outlet 5x8 oval case muffler that is 30” long. I wanted something that would keep the car as quiet as possible while cruising and then open up the DP for the track, I hope the drone is kept to a bare minimum with this muffler.

Also ordered a flaming river 1/0 gauge battery relocation kit and this badass billet battery bracket from *** Racing. Order the quick connect boost control kit as well for when it is time to wire up the boost controller!

Muffler came in, a lot bigger then I thought lol. Should definitely keep the car quiet and hopefully no drone.

This car is sick! What are you running for a rear end/gears? Also are the bumpers fiberglass?

9” rear with 3.50 Gears, gonna give the 275/60 SS M/T drag radial a try this year since it fits the true street no prep rules. It’s not the baddest drag radial Tire out there but I plan to keep a set of 275 Pro bracket radials for grudge events.

Bumpers are the only thing on the car that is fiberglass, we will see how heavy this thing actually is soon

One of my favorite g body's. I looked for one when I built my car , but ended up with a cutlas. Are you gonna wrap the manifolds? Or just rock them as is?

I had heard the 275 Pro's were bigger, so if a 275x60 DG is tight, the Pro's wont fit. On my Buick I tried to quit it down, ran 2 mufflers, and 4" to the rear bumper. I thought turbo's quieted it down, but I didn't think so, lol

I have plenty room, we used to run a 325/50 on a 10” Wheel so 1/2” on each side won’t be nothing.

Yea My last few turbo cars were pretty loud I figure I would try to make the full exhaust as quiet as possible for when I’m driving to the track or with the family and then open the 4” cutout for Racing, have the best of both worlds! Drone is my main concern.

I’m really curious if aluminum exhaust will change the tone at all

I'm running 295/55r15s, first I had mt's and now Hoosiers and the Hoosiers are a lot bigger than the Mickey. Just something to keep in mind if you ever decide to change it up.

TRZ upper/lower they are pretty sweet, built in travel limiters. Yea that’s the main track I Race at. Trying my hardest to make that no prep race during 2k at hmp.

Still a lot to do, once the kit is done I’ll get the car back and pull the hotpipes off for coating and begin the install on the new motor

Turbo kit and full exhaust is wrapped up, transmission is pulled and waiting on parts. Picking the car up in a day or so and I will get the hotside dropped off to get it cerakoted. I am very pleased with how everything turned out and the full exhaust system.

Exhaust consists of..

4” downpipe with a V-band that is capped
3” off the downpipe to a huge magnaflow that had to be cut 4” because it was impossible to fit it otherwise.
