I went a different direction with the twins. It could yell "I'm gayyyyyyyy" going down the road and I'd be happy with it lol.

Can you post a pic showing where the bullets are installed? And do you have a pic from under the car showing the downpipes?

Had it custom built from 2 cores. I could send you some more shots via PM if you're curious.

Do you guys really think a custom cam will fix this issue? I'm planning twins for my daily and do not want it sounding like a dump truck!!!

No, it will sound like a cammed dump truck, unless you run some kind of mufflers. The mini bullets I have really did nothing in improving the sound.

Mine sounds like *** too. I ended up putting full exhaust with xpipe and bullets and the note sounds way better....but it's almost too tame and all the cool turbine whistle disappears lol. I lost 60hp on low boost through the exhaust so added cutouts to get back to dump truck mode. Here's a medium boost shakedown pass with the cutouts open....it's awful

Yours sounds pretty good IMO in that vid. I do agree about cool instant turbine sound, it's one of the only things that keeps me from swapping back to a single, lol.

I dont mind mine much. I dont have very much street time so maybe it will get old and annoying once I start driving it more.

What's the set up on yours? Doesn't sound so bad to me.

Sounds good. Are those the mini bullets or the longer ones?

Setup in my sig. I have the Huron speed TT kit. I modified the down pipes and went 3" to 4" out of each side of the front bumper. The turbos quieted it down a lot more than I expected.

So yours is open downpipes with no mufflers?

Yep. It is not nearly as loud as I expected it to be.

That's cool. Part throttle cruising or taking off from a stop light will be the determination for me lol. My n/a 5.3 truck sounds good with the cutout open at idle and WOT, not so good at part throttle keeping up with traffic. But then again I don't have turbos to tone it down either.

Cool, sounds good. Did it rob you of any horsepower? I've heard of people saying mufflers robbed power on their turbo cars but I don't know how restrictive their muffler was.

Probably can't hear it too well, but here is my buddy's TT S10 that I did the turbo setup and tune on.
222/222 cam with Black Widow Neighbor Hater mufflers. They're short, mostly straight through mufflers with an X-style chamber on them.
Going out next friday and shooting for ~10.70s.

Sounds pretty good. I've had my eye on some Neighbor Hater mufflers for my truck. What motor is in the s10? Also what are you tuning with in that video, a tablet?

Gen 3 5.3 with gen 4 rods/pistons.

I use a cheap $120 RCA laptop with detachable keyboard to tune on the go.
