I can't even find that kit anywhere. Are you sure the name is right?

Seems like the price is super inflated. Sensor, harness, and fittings can be bought separately for well under $150. Not sure why you'd bother with the tuninglab since you still have to wire the sensor to the ECU yourself anyway.

Kind of what I was thinking. I've got maybe $60 total in hooking up my flex sensor.

how are your guys connecting these with aftermarket fuel systems? I'm interested to run a FF setup, but I run a -8an feed. Not sure what the diameter is on the connections for the sensor.

I run a Holley HP with the GM flex fuel sensor, #8 fittings on my #8 return, It would be
cool to see a screen shot of how GM has their scale for E85. I use like 35% @ E85,
I start out at 10% as 0, since the 93 octane has 10%.

I don't have a sensor to check, how does the e85 sensor's inlet/outlet diameter compare to PTFE -8an I.D.? I got it, they do make a -8an quick connect to mate to the sensor but I'd hate to create a restriction in the system even if -8an return isn't "necessary" (for me, at this time) because I may eventually go to -10an feed and retain the -8 return.

It is smaller, although I haven't had a problem-some with larger returns kind of add on a section
that flows thru the sensor, kind of like a y deal, so it doesn't interrupt the main return. Its just like
a small wire inside, somehow "feels" the fuel, lol.

it measures capacitance, of which ethanol differs slightly from gasoline. take a look at one, it's just a loop inside a tube. not likely to be a restriction problem placed on the return side of the fuel loop

This is exactly what I was thinking of doing and likely the route I will go. thanks!
