Ehhh track closed down but was rebought and reopened, no timing system yet all they have been doing is flashlight starts. Timing system is coming soon I hear. Haven’t lost yet 950rwp gt500 1080rwhp demon and a couple 1000ish rwhp vettes couldn’t take me from a dig or highway roll. As soon as the track gets timing system I’ll be sure to post up no doubt I’m just as anxious to see what it runs. We are at 1040rwhp through an unlocked converter so probably a bit higher and weights in at roughly 3381lbs. This has been a 2 year trial and error build but the car still rolls on the streets occasionally but Mostly at nights since I removed A/C

Are you still using the Compstar crankshaft with that blower and power level? I'm asking cause I have that crankshaft with Compstar rods in my 403 currently and was thinking about switching the crank out for the Dragon Slayer. I am also running the same A&A bracket with a F1a. I've read a few stories about the snout snapping so while the motors out I was thinking about switching. I bought my crank 10 years ago and have only 5500 miles on it.

Sweet setup man. Basically the direction I'm thinking about going now. The 347 f1a just isnt doing it for me anymore. Need to get in touch with you to get some opinions and so forth.

Can you give me any info on how you made the A&A brackets work? Were you able to space out the bracket to work with the F-body pulleys? If so how much did you space it out? Any pics of this would be really help full.

You need to use c6 accessories as well as the the c6 water pump and this will line up perfectly. Didn’t have any issues and I’m spinning the f1x at 70-71k rpms very very little belt slip the aster bracket just rounding hold up anything above 6400rpms it would flex and cause belt slip or belt breakage.

Is your alternator also on a C5 bracket? I though the C5's had the alternator mounted high on the drivers side.
