The air filter is located around the nose area and is a K&N unit. We had to somewhat bend the filter to get it to locate where we wanted it.

Yeah, Mine had to bent also to clear the manual rack. Is the filter a small cone shape?

Let me talk to Bryan before I post pictures. It is a fairly larger K&N. I would not call it small.

The stock computer seams to be working great. No issues at this point and he is out driving it today and Saturday. We will keep everyone posted.

Max Power was 771.45 RWHP
Max Torque was 716.94 RWTQ

This was on pump gas tune??? any alcohol injection? If that is straight 93 octane, through the cats, then that is very very nice.

No injection. Thru Cats. The tuner took about 3 hours for tuning with part-throttle included. We must say we were really suprised the stock computer held, but with a great tuner and alot of knowledge, this proves anything is possible. This was again on 93 octane straight from the local shell station at $1.97 gallon.

Congrats
Very Nice Numbers

Out of curiosity, how much did the whole setup run you including the F1 Blower and the motor ?

Default First real driving impressions

Ok I got to really drive the car today. Using moderate pedal in 1st and 2nd, still very fun and reasonable to drive and actually all gears, if it were not for the Race Blow off valve, and fuel pump, moderate pedal would drive and sound like stock.

Now on to the good stuff.
Drove through town, very, very drivable.
Go to an exit ramp to get onto the interstate. Moderate pedal into first, A little more out of Second, about 65% into 3rd.....Here it comes you can really feel it now, and I jump out of third and hit fourth. When I back out of the throttle roughly 4 seconds later and look down I am north of 120. The acceleration can only be described as unnerving in a exciting kind of way. It was pulling exponentally, and my heart was about to come out of my chest.

The only real life experience I can compare this to, is at Kings Dominion a Paramounts Park in Richmond, they have a ride called the Hypersonic. This rollercoaster uses a aircraft carrier catapult system, (you know the ones they launch aircraft with) to lauch its riders from 0-80 in 1.7 seconds. Yes that number is 100% correct. That ride is the only comparision I can make to the kind of accelleration I felt today, and I was not even hard on the pedal.

If any one has any questions, I refuse to be stuck up about anything that you would like to ask. I want to share all the information that I have learned from this experience with anyone who wants to know. That includes pictures, data recorded, money spent. The only thing that I cannot share is the computer file as I did not create it. That information belongs to More Performance.

Again I would like to state that if you are looking to have engine, tuning, or anything else done to your car, More Performance should be on your list. Mike and his crew did a stand up job. The unfortunate thing for them, is that they are not done with me yet. I have decided that I have to hit the 800 mark. Though I do not believe it will be too hard as the tune on my car is very mild according to MP.

If anyone has any questions please let me know
Thanks for all of your support
Bryan Wilkinson

The fuel pump is an Aeromotive unit and the fuel lines are custom made by us. We have LS1 Fuel lines custom made and are made from steel braided line. We started using these on all aeromotive units and 427CI engines within the last 2 weeks. The timing tables we will not release until Bryan comes in for the final tune. We did go conservative since he needed to take it to the alignment shop first.

The tune has alot in her and we believe there is still more to go. With 771RWHP we were spinning the tires. All pulls lasted less than 4.6 seconds with the last pull being 5.1 second and making the 771. We know it was spinning the wheels on the dyno and are trying to figure out how to fix this. We think 800 is a good number for him to shoot at and as he said, we are far from seeing the last of him.

He order a few suspension parts from me today. Hopefully this might help with the setup some.

More Performance will also answer any questions we can reguarding his setup and the tuning that was done. We would like to get final numbers before letting the cat out of the bag on the timing.

Thanks,

Amber

The rear end is a Mark Williams 9" with Detroit Locker. If you abrubtly disengage you can feel it. But under normal driving conditions, I couldn't even tell it was there. The car is very streetable and very driveable. At this point, as my confidence improves, it is so streetable I believe I could drive it in a rain storm.

One odd thing of point, I believe that because this is a locker, not one time today during any acceleration, did the car try to go any direction other than forward. This could be the nature of the Detroit Locker. Only time will tell as my experience grows with driving the car as I am now the weakest link in the equation.

Tell me which pictures you would like to see and how to post them on this forum and I will post them.

Can you tell me exactly how much that setup ran you. My lowsy $7500 would not even come close right ?
