Default Weird issue just popped up.....

Just finished my build, forged 6.0. Billet s480 , glide and the list goes on and on. Right now it's just on the wg springs. I rolled into the throttle and when it was just starting to get good out of nowhere the front brakes lock up.....I'm talking smoking tires locked up. When I let out of gas and rpm's start to drop you can feel the brakes release. It's a bit unnerving to say the least. It's an 02 trans am with power brakes. It has a line lock also. I do not think its line lock related because it stops when off the gas.......boost pushing back into brake booster? Anyone even heard of stuff Like this before...its a new one on me.

Doesnt the booster have a check valve in it, where the hose goes into it?

The check valve is in the fitting from the hose that plugs into the booster. Pull the line and blow into it from both directions. Could unplug your abs too in the event the ebcm is doing something.

Abs has been removed. so the check valve is the round fitting the hose runs from the booster to the back of the intake right? How do you tell if its bad?

try blowing into it on the intake side and see if air comes out or hook up a compressor fitting and see if it'll hold 10 psi.

Couldnt get air through it at all from the intake side. Even used a lot of air , like 90lbs because I was sure this was the issue and have a new one coming tomorrow. I could easily blow air through it from the booster side....I'm stumped. No clue where to go from here. Hard to enjoy the car when its slams on brakes all by itself...lol

Have you actually bled and checked the brakes? Seems odd it would only happen at WOT unless something is moving due to acceleration.

You can take the booster line off cap/plug both sides and take it out for a ride obviously be as cautious as possible as you won’t have power brakes and you wouldn’t know if it’s still going to lock up the wheels

Do yourself a favor and ditch that brake booster. Put a hydro boost setup on your car, best thing you can do on a turbo car imo

I've got a new check valve coming today. I'm going to cap the line and valve on the booster off as you suggested and see what happens before I put the new valve in. Problem is finding a place I can get into boost AND have plenty of room to stop with no traffic. Think I may have to wait till late night and go over on the freeway.

update, replaced the check valve even though the one in it seemed to be working properly. Took it for a spin and no sign of brake lockup under boost......hopefully the issues fixed and doesn't pop up again....I've just been on spring pressure, about to turn the co2 on and let it eat.
Thanks for all the input guys!
