Help me decide which way to go with build.
Ive been working on my build for awhile now and i was going twin vsracing billet s480s 83mm turbine 1.10 ar t4. But i saw the on3 107mm and it would get me to my 15 to 1600rwhp goal too. I have a 390 LSX with dart pro 1 heads 12 to 1 comp and a tick stage 3 turbo cam. Im gonna start fab on the turbo kit. Should i stay with the twins i have or sell them and go with the big single. I have decided one way and the other about thirty times. What does everyone think.

I know the 80s are big on the compressor side but ive used an 80 before and it didnt freak out on low boost so i figured it would work decent plus i was basically given them.

Well i get the gt55 wheel which is basically the same spec as the on3 106 but the 91mm 1600 crank according to forced inductions. I could go on3 94 mm its the gt55 cooy turbine and a billet 94mm compressor but its going to be close to maxed at 1700 crank.

Gotta ask, do you really want to use a knock off turbo on a 1500whp build?
You already spent a bunch of money on the motor/trans/suspension. Just get a nice turbo to go with it.
I haven't seen any results with the bigger on3 turbo's yet, so I would take the power ratings with a big grain of salt.

I know what you mean about the power ratings which they honestly dont even give. I was guessing off of the forced inductions site power ratings for gt55 stuff and then shooting a couple 100hp lower. I know what you mean about getting a nice turbo but anything that will support the power i am looking at making is gonna cost as much as my engine did to build lol. I really wasnt set on the 80s. I got them like i said almost free but have never convinced myself they where a good idea. I honestly think im going to try the 107mm. It will put out more than the hp im looking for and im probably just gonna use it this summer till i can save money again over the winter. I just dont wanna go another summer without my ride. Plus i supoose ill be the experiment on the large frame on3 stuff. Someone has to try one. Everyone can just enjoy saying i told you so if it fails i suppose. One way or the other its community service. Either finding a good china turbo alternative or being comedy relief. LOL
Edit: i did find a corvette with the 107mm on a 427 with a manual that made like 1400 wheel. He was going for more when a valve guide took a crap and ate the turbine. On3 is sending him a replacment even though its not there fault. Atleast thats his story.
