Default Holley Terminator and E85

Planning a Forced induction build and wondering how successful folks are with Holley and E85. Who is having success with Holley and E85 and forced induction? What are the gotchas? I read a lot of posts about different products but the Terminator is newer. So far I am planning a Tanks tank with Viton gaskets, Deatchwerks lines, pump and regulator, and probably injectors. Just looking for a simple yet tried and true way. Hoping to not run an interecooler since I can run e85 all day in the sodak. Any lessons learned? What are the go to recipes for rebuilding a 4.8? Thanks.

Your still gonna need an intercooler.

The terminator still works like any other holley dominator or hp. It just doesn't have some of there features. The self learn is all the same. I have installed 5 terminators already and tuned them there awesome. I have an HP my self.

If your in the market for a turbo I can help you out with that too. Currently the new Gen 2 vsr billet 78/75 are awesome

Such mix reviews with this. I was hoping to keep my piping simple. Care to elaborate why? E85 alone isn't enough? Where is the danger point? Is this like a "less than 20 pounds" type thing? Thanks for the turbo info. Great place to start.

There not a set level of danger point. It all depends on the set up.

Noting really to elaborate

No intercooler = High IAT = less power and high chance of detonation.

With intercooler = Lower IAT= more power and less chance of detonation

Also don't fool your self into thinking "I just want to stick to the much boost/power level " that's never the case everyone always wants more....

highly recommend an IC unless youre going to run the car on methanol. E85 while does have cooling propeties isnt really enough for a street car

I would also use the cork gaskets with Permatex aviation sealer that Tanks offers. On my youtube channel I have some terminator X software overview videos.
