Intake tubing?

Did a search but didn’t come up with anything that stood out so I figured I would post. I would like to run a tight 45* then run about a 1’ piece to get my filter away from a lot of the Under hood heat but was wondering where you guys are purchasing thin wall 5” aluminum tubing and bends? This is for the intake side of the turbo. Some other ideas are more than welcome as well. Thanks

Last time I bought from intake hoses.com. It doesn't look like they have much in 5" , but cxracing does. 5" isn't cheap though.

There is a place called intake hoses. They sell tibing amd elbows and crap. I have used there stiff on my projects. Its quality stuff at a decent price. Its not polished but a little elbow grease fixs that right up. There rubber elbows have reinforcment ribs that stop them from collapsing under suction. Same stuff semi trucks use for there intake systems.

Does ti really need to be 5" ?

The flange may be 5", but it could be adapted down...as I doubt the actual inducer is 5" ?

4" pipe is readily available, and if space is tight might help too.

I had a 5 to 4 cobra elbow, 1 ft of 4 inch pipe and a cone filter on the front of my s480. At 10 pounds it made the same hp with that intake on or open turbo so necking it down to 4 inchs didnt effect anything on my combo.

When I did mine I used a 5" cast 90* from ebay...CX Racing I think. It was like $50 but I was able to tap it for my PCV/catch can setup, so it worked out for the better.

Sorry for the late response guys works been crazy.
I don't have an issue going with smaller tubing just wasn't sure if it would effect the HP. Figured there was a reason that they put a 5" Mouth on the intake side of the turbo. Im sure that at my HP level it wouldn't really take Much if it did take any and since Jordoza had no issues looks like I will follow suit. Im running an even smaller s475.
