Default Bosch 210 injector with adapters ( help)

Hi guys I finally got my car started up today and it seems like there is a fuel leak. Almost like the injector o-rings are not the correct size OR the injector adapters are not correct.

see the parts below that I have
TBSS intake with faster LLC fuel rails off eBay he told me the fuel rails are for stock 2007-2014 tbss/5.3
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fit
m%2F132548079726

i also have Bosch 210’s from vs racing ev6 connectors.

lastly I am using these adapters
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F223615624594

once I pressurize the fuel system...the passenger side rail lifts up 1/2 inch. And fuel is leaking out of the top of the injector to rail seal. I’m not sure if 1) I bought the wrong adapters ? 2) am I missing the adapter clips ? 3) maybe the o rings are the wrong size/thickness.

thanks for the help. Must be something simple I am missing.

It may be that I am missing this clip to hold the “adapter down” let me know what you think.

I just went through this with the l92 style intake and those rails(but for the l92 truck intake). i Ended up buying a Holley intake because these became a fire hazard. I tried everything but couldn’t get them to work. I finally got them to seal but then they would leak when the fuel pressure would increase during wot. I spoke with the owner who was a really nice guy and he basically said they were meant for stock injectors. They seam like a really nice product but just didn’t work with the 210 injectors. Also make sure you buy the spacers with filters in them since the 210 injectors don’t have any filters or screens in them like the 80lb injectors. Good luck!

Certainly there has to be another solution. Bigger thicker o rings ? I know many people use these rails

There are diff thickness's o rings, I remember when using an LS 3 intake, I think I had to
use thicker ones, just cant remember. I know one of those spacer kits for running LS1
style injs. on an LS3 intake came with diff o rings-thicker?

It’s the spacing between the intake and the rails. I could feel the o-ring under the rail that’s why they leaked. There should be only minimal movement up and down. I’m sure you could make different hold down brackets but I didn’t trust mine after numerous leaks.

Can you ditch the spacers?
The Ls3 injectors use a slightly bigger o-ring on the bottom. Same id but larger od. Might help. I keep them in stock, but can tell you the pn if needed.

I know that this is an old thread but I'm going to bump it because I am running into the same issue with the Fasster rails and the Gen IV flex fuel injectors. I'm also having problems with them leaking at the rail around the injector o-ring. I would think that a larger o-ring would fix this. Has anyone ever found a solution? Thanks.

The rail shouldn’t move. It should be solid mounted to the intake manifold. How is it moving?
If anything the injector should move down. Which is fine as long as it doesn’t move down far enough that the oring is exposed.
The top hats should have clips installed to the injector.

When you say leaking, you mean loose like you might have the wrong hats?

Hey this is Wayne from Fasster. So just a few things on these nbss fuel rail kits. The kit is designed by using the stock truck injectors 1.8”. The fitment issues come with the truck flex

injectors which are slightly shorter. You must run top hats to make the Injectors work in any case. (Flow bench testing shows no pattern change with hats on bottom) see pic. If you use the flex injector or 210’s you’ll need different top hats or shave into your manifold to get the rails to clear.
