Default Huron twink kit plug issue

What are you guys with the fbody twin kit from huron doing for plug wires? I keep burning #5...I've triple insulated but cant keep it from burning up. Manifolds are wrapped as well but that #5 wire just gently rests on the manifold...using MSD wires right now.

Twin F-body Kit? F-body V3 manifolds have excellent plug wire clearance so I am shocked to hear of any plug wire burning. Please email me some more info and photos and I'll be happy to assist! Jon@HuronSpeed.com

Yeah, sounds like an older kit. New V3 kits all have excellent plug and wire clearance, OEM like. Shoot me that email and I will be happy to help out!

Customer has older V2 manifolds and is using some MSD wires. With those wires you can bend the ends to gain all the clearance you need and should fix his issue. Also a lot of thick heat wrap around each primary is stealing a lot of real estate on his set-up that isn't necessary (we do not recommend completely wrapping everything, only tight areas, due to wrap trapping in moisture and heat) Please see below the current plug wire clearance on the V3 manifolds as well as how the MSD wires can be used to create additional clearance

I swapped some new wires in and bent them out of the way we will see how they hold up. Thank you for being super responsive and willing to help!
