Default Slight bog right before boost hits

Hello everyone, my car has developed some weird bog/hesitation when I am WOT right as boost kicks in. Say i am in any gear and I smash the throttle, it goes up smoothly then when I hear the turbo and boost kicks in it has like a slight bog right before boost kicks in for a second or two then it just RIPS and climbs the RPM's just fine, boost comes in a little before 3000rpm.

When I got my car tuned it was about 110 degrees in June, currently it's 50-70 here in Phoenix, I don't notice anything weird in my AFR gauge either, I smash the throttle and the AFR goes to 12.8 or stays in the "green" according to my AFR gauge. I thought it was the spark plugs but they all looked great and i still changed them all out, didn't fix the issue. Before reaching out to my tuner to see if i need to check out the tune I figured i would ask in here, I'm thinking it's the tune that needs to get altered and or my clutch perhaps?

ls1 5.7
Precision 7675
BTR stage 2 turbo cam
Speed density tune
t56 magnum
ls7 clutch( My clutch slips if i do a clutch dump with anything over 3k rpm) it wont grab at all and instead of doing a burn out for example just burns my clutch lol
car weighs 3200 pounds with me in it, it's a 98 bmw
Walbro 525 fuel pump
aeromotive regulator

Tuner should probably check the Power Enrichment and Boost Enrichment settings.

What kind of power is it making? Also what fuel you running? 12.8 seems lean for my liking.

it made 500hp on 91octane

semi unrelated, but I would really get that looked into. 12.8/1 on 91 would make me very nervous.

Sounds like you have a rich/lean tip in or timing drops off a cliff right when entering boost. Tune needs looked at. A log with a wideband should tell you what you need to know.

I had a "miss" develop in a similar scenario as you are describing. Turned out to be a torn spark plug boot. Once I replaced that, all was good. I do agree that you should have your tune looked at, either way.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I am going to be pulling the engine/tranny soon to do a clutch upgrade(Monster LT1-S) When i do that i'll take a look at the plug wires closely and possibly replace them to see if that fixes the issue, i'll also reach out to my tuner to get it looked at again!

Since my coils are hidden and tucked under the manifolds it's a PITA to inspect them but when i pull the engine will be a great time to get that done
