Also a PTC 9.5. I think it’s a 17.
a little loose, but works fine with the foot brake.

I hope with a 6.0 and a trans break the 15 will work . im sure if it will build boost it will run good with the steeper 1st gear in my 400th im used to a 1.76 glide.

File a slot in the bearing shell at the parting line to feed some oil to the the thrust surface. An old trick. To some it’s controversial in the LS world.

My engine builder did that mod on my SBE engine because I mentioned that I might switch to a powerglide.

It’ll build boost fine. I had a 15-40 (tighter) behind my 5.3 and it’d build 20 psi in under two seconds if I wanted it to. Just too tight everywhere else.

Get some small needle nose pliers and make a tiny curl at the end. I’ve used the stainless zip ties and baling wire for exhaust wrap. I always use the curly end trick on both. Works great.

Well, 2 dragstrips in the Portland area. Due to the virus, both closed for the foreseeable future.

Total BS

Have four tickets to the NHRA Texas Sportsman Challenge and that's closed down due to COVID-19.

NHRA Spring Nationals are still on the agenda so as long as they don't close that one down I'll get over it!

Sadly, even though I am, or was I should say, a dyno operator, I never got it on there.
Track and street tuning only.
Maybe someday!

All the tracks, meets around here are shut down, some tracks are doing rentals only. One big event I go to
every year in May is still undecided. I have been puttin around on the streets, not much traffic since nobody
is working. With my 401K in the crapper, I drive easy so I dont break parts, lol.

yeah everything is shut down. waiting for a shelter in place order.

there are upsides of course. PPD is no longer responding to anything that is not immediately life-threatening violence.

and as it turns out, complex hydrocarbons in the form of tire smoke seems to kill the virus on contact
