Boosted noob questions

I want to make one post and ask questions as I come along on my build,

What hose is everyone running from their turbo to wastegate and blow off valve

Also to run just on wastegate spring. Do I need to run a hose from the turbo to the bottom port of waste gate or not

Standard silicone hose off ebay/Amazon works just fine. And to run of wastegate spring only you need to run a hose to the bottom/side port of the W.G. Typically you would reference it from the intake piping pre-throttle body though to account for any lose of boost due to the intercooler/leaks.

I think you made a typo -should be post turbo. To the OP many turbos have a npt port at the outlet - perfect for wastegate reference

It should have said, pre-throttle body. Had a brain fart, thanks for the heads up

For the waste gate and fuel pres reg I run the 1/4" plastic lines with the push in
fittings (I get them from the truck store). For the blow off valve (surge valve) I use
reg vac. hose.

In a pinch? Local parts stores sell hose by the foot. You pick the size and length you need and they will cut it straight off of the roll.
I really like the nylon push lock stuff but it sucks when it gets hot/oily and cracks. I haven't been able to make it last as long as rubber hose.
