Running into a lot of space problems on a 69 RS with 6.0 and precision 76/75. Will this collector cause serious issues? This is the easy way out but I could possibly configure it for a more rounded entry with a lot more fab work. First turbo build so I need advice.

 

Obviously it isn't finished yet, just looking for info before I finish cutting and welding

 

Why not cut 2 weld elbows as a divided inlet into the flange. Just cut your weld el straight along the short tun perpendicular to the tube inlet

 

not sure what the rest of the engine bay looks like, but i would avoid running it like that at all costs. will it run and make boost? sure, but i wouldnt expect it to do a very good job.

 

Step one. Buy the monkeyfab collector
step 2 find a spot for it
step 3 v band your headers
step 4 connect them all together.
that’s how I did it and it worked out, I would really really avoid that setup.

I already knew it probably was not going to work, I trashed it and fabricated one with nice transitions. Thanks for all the input.

 

Please dont buy a fancy flange for a 7675. You can make a merge and beat it even with a T4 flange in 30 minutes.
