Turbo AR Effect on Drive Pressure

It sounds steep but really its not. I had my gains for the On3 turbo setting fairly low because it would hit early and taper off harshly from 5500rpm on. Now I dont have boost taper uptop and can fine tune the boost controller to bring in boost sooner and not need max sensitivity to keep the boost up in high rpm. I expected to make some changes in my previous boost settings. It hits full boost hard..i can bring the ramp in sooner and smooth that out for lag.no complaints with the change in housings so far.

As mine is right now I have about 500-700rpm of lag....but it takes a split second to raise that small amount of rpm

Worse in 5th or 6th if cruising at 60-70mph.
With a stick I would have to drop a gear if I wanted to move quickly.
Haven't driven my TH400 car enough yet to gauge but from the little bit I've driven it, it seems to build boost much faster.

My T4 7875 M6 car w/ 3.73 gears and 26" tire would take forrrrrevvvvvvvvver to build boost if I left it in 3rd of 4th gear cruising at 40ish mph and dropped the hammer.

Pulls on the street started at 40mph in 2nd gear, 3rd had noticeable lag.
My cam was a bit oversized for the combination so that may have been a small contributing factor.
It was intended for a 6.0L+ engine with a big single but its what my buddy had laying around so we used it, the chop at idle was beautiful.

Perhaps not so much in 3rd at 40mph but definitely 4th.

M6 car w /3.73 gears and 26' tire
3rd gear @ 40mph is 3500 rpm
4th gear @ 40mph is 1950 rpm
5th gear @ 60mph is 2300 rpm
6th gear @ 70 mph is 2150 rpm
Yes , it would be expected to be laggy at those rpms except for 3rd gear where Boost is already starting at a good point.

My t4 m6 really isnt bad for lag now, just takes fine tuning with the boost controller. Need to be alert on what gear your in and at what speed to optimize boost response is all. Most times I drop to 4th to play with someone..drop to 3rd if i really want to lay a beating.

Boost was still pretty low in 3rd at 40mph and while I could start a race there, it still left me trailing by half a car on the hit, 2nd fared much much better.
This was also on gate before I added an EBC, the car came up on boost much more violently after the addition of the EBC and unfortunately I sold the car shortly after but I'm sure it would've made a significant inprovement.

Based on your statement, I bought the same brake setup. They arrived today and I finished installing them a couple of hours ago. After the 'bedding' in process, I tried them in earnest from a high MPH start. I can lock up the big front tires easily now. Thanks for the tip!

These are the rotor and pad kits, front & rear. Didn't realize LT1 and LS1 had different brakes.
If you go directly to PowerStop site, you can also "add" calipers to the kit. I have stock rear calipers, and reman'd fronts, painted them (and the caliper brackets) a metallic dark charcoal gray, which gave the look I was after, with my Billet Specialties wheels.
I actually lucked out when I bought mine, as there was a "Clearance Sale" at Rock Auto. They can be had at most places for $300 or so...
LS1 Rear Brakes:

LT1 Rear Brakes:
