Default LS6 intake...Where to find one?

been digging into older post and how everyone said go with LS6 intake. All dated back 2013 or earlier. Turbo LQ4 and I have TB, TAC and ECM with the motor. Also have the truck intake, which won't clear the hood (and/or not looking good enough). Goal is to be able to run existing DBW truck TB with a lower profile car intake which doesn't kill usable RPM range performance, like idle-6500. And later on upgrade TB to something bigger if I can figure how to do it or even if worth it (considering is a turbo). All those older post pointing to LS6 intake (besides FAST). I can't find a decent LS6 intake for good price. Found few on e bay asking $500-700 for a USED one. Can't make myself comfortable to pay that much for a used plastic intake. What are the other options? Will se maybe 17 psi max. Thanx.

Just get the crappiest ls2 intake that nobody wants, and enjoy your turbo motor. You will run slower though, because of all the exercise you did not do chasing old parts for an extra tiny bit of power.

Dorman LS6 Is also an option but nobody has it in stock and is about $500. Weiand (Holley) 300-111 is cast aluminium and appears to be a decent piece about $650. Can't find any post someone actually ran them. Any experience with them?

Whats your HP goal? Seems like you could go Victor Jr with a elbow and just leave a lot of issues behind?
Just a off the cuff thought... but either way update with what mix you decide to go with..

For the price of a Dorman just save up some more coin and choose the FAST

They pop up often weekly and sometimes daily on Corvette Forum for 4-500 dollars.

looked into BBK intake also. Discontinued. Doesn't even show on their website. Kinda like Weiand 300-111, seems nobody has any experience with them?

Also looking for a low profile, plastic, inexpensive car intake (cathedral port and 3 bolt TB). I remember when the going price for an LS1 intake was like $150...

I don't see where the Weiand would be a bad choice at all and at half the cost of a FAST and a little more than a used plastic manifold it almost seems like a no brainer. Perhaps the plastic ones do a better job of dissipating heat and that's why they're sought after.

Yeah...that "heat dissipating" deal is what lots of people were discussing in old posts back in 2012. Fact is, nowadays whoever sells " used plastic OEM cathedral port" intake, doesn't even care if is a LS1 or LS6. "Cathedral port" is what they're advertising, and in most cases, it will cost more than Holley intake, shipped. I really don't want to open yet another can of worm here regarding heat absorbing characteristics of aluminium intakes. I just like you mentioned, see no reason why not running a Holley intake with similar (or perhaps lower) price than a used plastic intake. This is what they're asking for these now...Long gone $100 LS1 intakes.
