Thanks John. I think I’ve met Kevin. As for the others, highly likely I’ve spoken with them, but don’t know them. Classic case of “know the car, spoken to the owner, but don’t know any names…”
lol
new job has me hustling. Spain, Portugal, France, Scotland… all within a couple weeks.
Likely October before I get on the dyno. I have a date with MIR on 11/10 for testing. Fingers crossed I can get out prior to that.

Ok… an update.
Since I don’t have time to race regularly, I switched from M1 to X85. My injectors will appreciate it. I removed them to get them cleaned and flowed, and they were all a mess. M1 is tricky stuff and requires a lot of time and attention that I don’t really have.
X85 is better for how I plan to race.
Anyway. It’s ready for the dyno. The plan is dyno next Thursday and I’m going to MIR Friday for a rental.
Fingers crossed.

If we're talking about enjoying the smell of exhaust, there is nothing finer than C16 IMO lol.
I grew up in Aviation and smelled AVGas for years and it smells also so much like Race Gas.

I was thinking about going to Cecil on Saturday. I saw the Sunday thing. Might do that too. Weather is looking like crap for the MIR rental on Friday I’m planning on….
Looks like I’m gonna need a plan B. That’s where Cecil this weekend comes into play.

How about neither lol.
I watched a bunch of friends run in a mid 4 second class over the summer, I was basically at the starting line for every round. When I came home my wife said "how come you smell like chemicals."
Back to Pete, good luck, still rocking the FIS 76?

Thanks John. Still have the 76 from Jose. it’s the class legal 235 radial turbo.
Stepping up to an 88 for next year, since I won’t be playing with the Ultra Street players and there are no 235 races anywhere near me. Danny and Louis race in the 235 class, and it would be a lot of fun to race with them, but I don’t have the time to travel that much.
N/T ASAG is the class for me.

826/682 on 15psi. That was on the gate, as we didn’t have time to work on the boost control stuff.
IAT was 140-150 during the pulls. Not bad, but a dyno pull isn’t as long as an 1/8th mile pass. Not to mention, I’m planning more boost than “just” 15lbs.
hitting a rental at MIR Monday.
Will report back…

How about an update?
Testing in November at MIR didn’t go well. Electrical gremlins hindered me all day.
back in my garage. Up on jack stands…
the TPS sensor was reading wonky. I installed a new sensor. Also swapped to a 16v system. Changed the cooling system - added a larger radiator and fan combo, as I was fighting engine temp issues too. Lots of stupid little things.
It was running fine…
Then, I decided to swap out the mechanical pump for an electric. Next thing I know, damn MAP sensor fails…
Now I’m waiting for delivery from Motion Raceworks.
I started this project over 7 years ago. I was younger and didn’t know what I didn’t know. This has been an interesting road I’ve gone down. And, as I’m older now, and not quite as flexible… climbing in and out of a car with a 25.5 cage isn’t so easy…lol.
I have come to terms with the fact that I’m just not really passionate about doing “whatever it takes” to run a heads up class.
I will run 8.50/8.60 index classes.
Once I get the new MAP sensor in, the car should be ready to go back to the track. I’m hoping to get into a Cecil County rental soon.
