Default VS racing 78/75 nex gen

My car has always had a small amount of smoke, but i always thought it was coming from the engine.

well, i had the engine completely rebuilt, did the turbo kit, and fired it up yesterday……
it was good at first, but then as things started to heat up, i smoked out the neighborhood…. Looked like a steam locomotive 😂

anyways, when i did the turbo kit, i angled the turbo backward roughly 15 degrees to give it a pleasurable aesthetic. The drain is a 90* 10an fitting going down to the front timing cover.

when it was smoking, i felt under the vband exhaust and its completely soaked, leaking all over the charge pipe and stuff.

now, the plan is to rebuild the turbo first to see if that gets rid of it….. if not, does anybody have an oil restrictor on theirs or can someone give me an insight if a restrictor would work without burning the turbo up?

the engine has a melling m295hv and makes roughly 45-50psi at idle

as for the pcv system, completely eliminated. I have 1 10an fitting on each valve cover going to a catch can venting to atmosphere

The first pic shows the angle of the turbo (15 degrees)

the 2nd pic does absolutely no justice for the smoke…. It’s horrible.

I had issues on cold start with 80 psi of oil pressure of major smoke and oil leaking past the turbo seals. I went with the vibrant restrictor which fixed my issues.

If the drain is good then this or Turbosmart make an oil regulator for turbos that works really well.
