If it hasn't been mentinoned, I'm pretty sure you are going to need another fuel pump. I don't think one 340lph pump is going to be enough for your goals on E.
pahahaha, definitely not. My 340 took me to about 12psi with a turbo on pump gas.....e85....probably alot less.
I've had both:
YSI, 5.7. 9.40@145, 1.35 losing the belt, front half of the slip showed 9.30 potential, 18 psi
47-88, 5.7, 9.44@144 was just scratching the surface
85/96, 5.3, f'n fast on the street will make track hits this year
Blower sounded cool as hell but that custom combo struggled to keep the belt on. That was long time ago so hopefully the current kit offering don't have that issue. But I'd want to hear from folks who have 15-18 psi combos who don't have any belt issues.
My pick is turbo.

Top 3 qualifiers at the World Series of pro mod this weekend were Procharged cars. Ya I know not street cars lol.
I don't follow this series, are the turbo vs Procharged cars on a even playing field, or is this like every other series that I do follow, and the Procharged cars get a weight break vs a turbo car? Same deal with single turbo vs twins, weight breaks, and they make the weight penalty significant enough, which is why there are so many Procharged Hemis out now. Just saying

There are all sorts of rules but if you are comparing big block centri vs big block turbo the weights are the same. Of course there are plenty of other variables in the mix like compressor size limitations, etc which can favor certain combos but as far as weight is concerned it's the same limit.

Looks like base weight limit for Big block with a centri with lock up is 2,675 lbs and base weight for Big block twin turbo with lock up is 2,625. Big block with twin turbo is limited to 98mm turbos.
The Fbody has plenty of room under the hood is a new 1 to me unless you hack the front radiator support and go with a turbo k member and lose AC.
Guess streetable no highway drag car means different things to different folks.
The crank pulley is even with the shock towers on an Fbody. The motor sits back pretty dang far compared to most “muscle cars”. Once you remove the non-essential items, pretty sure I could fit a small pony in that engine bay.
For a drag car, as mentioned. The tubular front end kits are cheap and easy to install. Can’t imagine having a drag F-body without one. Most I see at our local strips have a front end kit similar to this. Even the “budget builds”. Pretty crazy how much room it free’s up. Completely gutted with a 8.8, mild 8.50 cage, tube front end and an LS3 they STILL weigh 3200ish without driver.

Yup if youre willing to gut anthing you can make it fit. A Turbo sticking out the hood with a h8r pipe "fits".
