Default Popped head gasket

Buddies car, looking for opinions on a possible cause. Iron 6.0, summit pro rod/piston. TFS heads, BTR stage 3 turbo cam, ls9 head gaskets, copper sprayed, 88mm turbo, on E85. Made a handful of passes on 23psi. Last pass, car died going through the traps.

I would get the injectors flowed. It’s possible that it leaned out on that cylinder.

Damn!
Is that #6 with the rust on it?
Torch the head and/or the block?
In any case, one sick puppy!

Torched the head on #5, I don't think he's pulled the other head as of yet.

Good eye, that's what I thought too. My buddy said it was just a piece of debris and not a crack.

Yes, they are using holley terminator, but for some reason they were not datalogging any runs throughout the night. I have no idea why. I told him without logs, it's going to be a guessing game until it let's go, and here we are.

Be curious what timing and AFR. 23 psi should be no issue if the tune is correct. We run that and more in my buddies 6.0
We don’t spray the gaskets.

Fuel system would be solid but the electrical side is questionable at best, so there's that. I built the engine, guy wanted the gaskets copper sprayed, I told him it would hold no better sprayed than not, but it's not my engine.

There might be clues in the tune that is on the ECU. Have your buddy extract the tune that is saved on the Terminator X right now and post it.

Exactly, if they pull the tune and the learn table added a bunch of fuel, well at least they know "that" much. Unless the learn was gutted too, to go along with no data log.

Everybody loves that copper spray I know customer wanted it done, but it only helps seal water leaks on poor surfaces not like it can help with actual combustion pressure. How were the overall surfaces of block/head to start out?

Sewerpickle, you come up with anymore? I will say, I'm glad I'm not the only one who tunes for people who can't even click the log button. 😂
