I watched the video and mine is actually very similar to the way he does it at the end of the video. Notice he said he finds this way works better, my tuner said the same thing that's why I did it that way.

What's the benefit to doing it this way versus the free wheel slip version in the software? The only thing I see is that you're using an upper RPM rev limiter instead of simply pulling timing. I'm about to get my car back on the road and I'd like to get the traction control figured out.

In a nutshell I was told Holley’s built in traction control works pretty good, but a lot of guys feel it reacts a little late once the tire already starts spinning. This way lets you control exactly how much timing gets pulled based on speed/slip so it’s usually smoother and reacts quicker on turbo setups. Im not sure if you looked at my file but I did not use rpm like he did but my it setup in the same format.

Its front_wheel_speed before anyone says its different I changed the spelling to that before I uploaded.

That makes sense, I'll have to play around with mine and see if I even have an advance table open to use. Why do you have it kicking in at 15MPH? I would think from a dig, you'd want it active as soon as you hit the throttle. I'm still learning all this stuff myself, so excuse all the questions.

I thought so too but my tuner insisted the truck needed to be moving first before it kicks in, even more so with it being turbo and I did a good but of research and even checked chat gpt and everything I read said the same thing. He shared a few others tune files and one of the ones he showed me the guy had his kicking it at 40mph but i wasnt going that high, he told me start it at 20 but I choice to go down to 15. Basically he said when I launch i want the truck to unload, wrinkle the tires, attempt to hook, and settle before it kicks in, if it kicks in to early it will make the truck lazy pulling timing that early.

yeh me too! We have been having quite a good bit of rain here too, damn near everyday. Im hoping to go to the track Saturday but its showing a high of 90 degrees and 40% chance of rain so we will see how that goes.
