Ideal turbo?
Sure that one works. I prefer the S400 line. Precision seem to break often and are really picky about metal particles in the oil.
With no real information we can't give any real advice. What does 800+ mean? What is the motor combo? Rpm?
You can go smaller or with smaller housings if right around 800 crank is your goal. But if you want 900 950 1000 1050... they would all be different recommendations to get the most out of response. IMO T4 turbos don't belong on any v8. But some disagree. I drag race and have a trans brake so "spool" isn't important to me personally. I'm in boost and ready to go as soon as I release the trans brake.

Good thing you don't have a budget because the 6L80E is a great transmission until it breaks because your wallet will soon after follow suit.

I am hard headed and dont listen so I have alot of experience trying to make a 6l80 live with high hp turbo and the result is my car has a 4l80e in it. After all the power packs and expensive 4 lock up disc converters and billet hard parts. I swapped in a 4l80e and went faster with less drama first time out. I wish I had gone 4l80 the first time my 6l80 burned up.

The converter in my 6L80 failed and killed the transmission in my 2015 Silverado and the dealer wanted $8,000 to replace it, I legit thought about 4L80 swapping it until Chevrolet stepped up and paid the bill.

When you say circle track/street car, what does that mean? I guess I'm so far away from that I honestly don't understand. Only circle track we have is dirt, and Hornets are about the only thing that "could" be kinda considered, but that's not what you mean.
Are you only wanting a single turbo? What fuel are you running?
I wouldn't consider anything other than a 80 at this point, unless it was a all out drag car that a 2spd would work in, JMO.
