The 2650s are great blowers but suffer from the same belt issues once you really start to push them. That's my issue. I still want to rev to a minimum of 8000rpm and don't really want to deal with belt issues. I have friends that swear this and that about their centri cars but are still always throwing belts and they are only revving to 7000.

Turbo is your only option from the sounds of it.

I hate twins, but I have them because I lacked room for the size single downpipe I would have wanted to use. I would have much preferred not running two of almost every bit of plumbing, but they did make part of the exhaust work easier.

I loved my last single turbo setup but I had to pretty much do a bumper exit for the exhaust. Not really wanting to do that again. And with a bigger CI engine, I would really need to run a 5" exhaust. Twins will be the only thing that will allow keeping somewhat of a full exhaust. I can put them in the fenders and keep a good amount of heat out of the engine bay. Pros and cons to both. Just gotta sit down and decide which route to go.

Not a fan of twins but it is the best option imo.
A pair of S366's would be legit, fender dumps with a bullet muffler in the down pipe would work.

Gonna go with the Pulsar 73/75s, twins. Now to decide between front mount, fender mount, or mid-mount behind the drivers area (C6 vette where stock fuel tanks used to be).

About to start ordering everything to start mocking/building the turbo kit.

Ended up ordering some VS Racing 69/73s. I think these will fit my goals a little better. Not trying to break any records. Shooting for 1200whp on "mild" boost. Mid 20s psi. Should give me some good resolution for boost/traction control and not push everything too hard. Also ordered some stainless piping, wastegates, and some of those Motion wastegate merges.

I'm a fan of fender mount, mid mount would be cool too and help control heat in the engine bay a lot better too I'd imagine.
There's a guy on here who did a fender mount that was excellent but unfortunately, I can't find the thread.
He had to do a lot of work to pull it off but it looked and sounded amazing.
He tucked the turbos in the fender right behind the front wheels with the dumps coming out at the bottom of the fender.
Might be easier for you since your car is already highly modified?

Yup, I've seen a few people do it that way. Getting a few ideas and talking to a few people to see which route will be best.

Once I get the turbos in hand, I can mock them up to see where they can and can't fit. That will ultimately drive the final decision.

Those Motion merges look really good, would have come in handy during my kit fabrication.

I was leaning real hard to mid-mounting the turbos behind the drivers area. In the end, I was afraid of spool time being too slow.

So, I decided on fender mount. Got to work this weekend.
