Default C6 Z06 new PB

Street Car Takeover came to Firebird Raceway this past weekend and I finally had a chance to run the car in a local event with decent air and good track prep. The DA hovered anywhere from 1500' to 2500' so it's actually pretty good air for around here and track prep was on point. The car ran consistent all day and I slowly kept feeding more power in on the leave and it kept going faster and faster and reset my PB several times in the process. These 6870s are just about all tapped out so it looks like I'm going to be forced to upgrade here in the future to something a bit larger. Ran my buddy Frank in the finals in his C7 Z06 which is #2 right now on the C7 quick list, he is just .006 away from the #1 spot and could have had it but just ran out of time tweaking at the event. We decided to split the pot at the end and just throw the chutes at the 1/8th since the track was getting cold and starting to go away and we were slipping and sliding up top.

Here is just a quick video of some of the passes at the event...

Nice, car looked great!
Can you fit a bigger turbo on your setup without reworking the hotside?

Unfortunately not, they are currently down by the bellhousing and I think I'm going to move them up front so they are easier to deal with. I will probably upgrade the turbos to some of the new Xonas that were just released.

Thanks! Yes it's a glide setup with a 9" rear, still all stock style IRS suspension.

Logged a 2.55 second 60-130 time on the fast pass too but I didn't record any video inside because I suck.

Ripping! What kind of power is it making to go 7.50's@183mph? That car looks ultra consistent!

Last time it made right around 1450 on a dynojet but boost wasn't totally cranked, but I'm sure it has to be somewhere around 1500-1550 maxed. It was super consistent all day and there are a few more things I'm going to tweak but I think it's got 7.4x in it with these turbos. So far this thing has been hooking at pretty much every track and event I've taken it to. Just registered again for TX2K so hope to make some glory passes there.

It's a single 450 and twin 525s but I'm upgrading here in a bit as I've had to start mixing down E85 to around E75 to keep pressure up. I have an ID brushless controller/pump sitting here that I've been meaning to put in but I just don't have the time to do it so it's on the shops schedule at this point. That should get me around 20% more volume at the same pressure, draw just over half the current, and be a nice PWM configuration vs the current pump setup.

I have twin 450s and about to swap them for twin 525s to see how far I can push them before I have to do a fuel cell and external pump set up. Any issues with pushing pump e85 that hard?

I'm not sure what you mean about how far can you push them?

I meant how far twin 525s will get me hp wise before they max out. I have Bosch 210s so I think I’m good there

That really depends on your combo, base pressure, etc so it's hard to say.
