It might be conservative for your combo at a given boost level?
I trust his tuning, he is pretty sharp and yeh i have a boost safety cut set at 25 psi. N im sure my compression is a little higher then normal with the milled heads and I do have a flex fuel sensor but i never run 93, e85 is readily availiable and my truck runs a thousand times better with e85. Ive heard stories of e85 cold starts with e but my truck actually cranks better and everything. I drove it to Florida once and had to put 93 in it and it struggled to start with 93. All around it ran worse with 93 so I never put it again.

Looks close for sure, could even be a tad too much with 10.9 compression. Looks similar to mine but I'm 10.3 compression. Read plugs to see what to do. I'm a shade tree mechanic at best and even I can read plugs and adjust timing. It is crazy easy. This is definitely where a dyno shines. Make a pull, yank the plug quick, look at it, and go from there. Mine was initially very soft, wasn't even leaving a mark on the strap, but we slowly added on the dyno and got it dialed in.

this is how my tuner tunes vehicles, he has a dyno at his house and we put my truck on the dyno and made several pulls looking at plugs while he adjusted and then afterwards we drove it on the street a bit and made a few more adjustments.

Yeah I'm waiting for my buddy to get his dyno up and going in his shop, I want to put it on there and make some pulls while I check plugs. I might just pull a few degrees for now until I can get to checking plugs. Or I need to go hit a back road and make some pulls, either way.
