why not stick with the d1sc, the f1r is overkill for most of the people here.
the only problem with the procharger kits that stops them from reaching their full potential is the tensioner system. do a search and the solution should be obvious. (plus it will cost you alot less)

Yea, I would sell my D-1SC for an F1 though, when I switch my cam it will be better for the setup, its 5:1 ratio will work even better with the SD stuff, I just want to make around 15-16psi....

Too bad I already ordered the 3.2" blower pulley for my D-1SC, I'm getting more bites on my kit that I'm selling, so we will see what happens

Clay Loving and I were discussing the other day (he has an F-1R) that by the time we reach these power levels where we truly need the added boost that an F-1R brings to the table, wieghing the cost of parasitic loss, it might be better to move on to a turbo.

Just throwing that out there.

If you have a D1 already, why not make the jump to a D1R? Same external size so it should drop right into the brackets, but it will make almost as much power as an F1R - I've heard 1200-1250 HP.

so, all i would have to swap would be the head unit?

for one thing the f-1r is self contained and i like that idea.

If your bracket/tensioning system is up to par as far as belt slip and bracket slip is concerned, you can just drop er right in there and go. If you're getting belt slip or flex I would think about new hardware before upping to a bigger blower.

F1R WILL NOT fit on the stock ATI bracket, I don't know what people are doing to bracket the, I was going to do an F1R, but I've decided to go with an F1 since it sits on the stock bracket and will work with my SD stuff
