Well I'm kind of being risky, I have an oil pressure gauge in the car but still need to route the wire. I know it's getting pressure because I pulled one of the lines and there was plenty of oil in it. Also you can hear the pump really loud when you turn the key on but when you start the car it gets quite (meaning it's pumping oil). I plan to run the wire tonight to see what kind of pressure I'm getting back to the pan.

I also need to put a check valve in the pressure side so the oil doesn't drain back down the hose part way after turning it off.

Remember a turbo needs about 2 gallons per min at 30-35psi.

It's getting pressurized by my oil pump running, my oil pressure runs around 60psi at idle and low rpm's. The return pump...well I'm not sure until I get the gauge hooked up tonight.

Sounds awesome, can't wait to see the pics. Gotta love the innovators out there. You get a big from me for doing something like this. I hope you see the numbers you are looking for, do you know where to get it tuned? Any good tuners in your area?
Keep the info coming

Doesn't STS use a boost reference switch to increase/decrease voltage to the pump to
raise/lower pump volume while under boost?

Is it a good idea to power the oil pump from the fuel pump wire? Wouldnt it would be drawing power at a time when you need it most - wot? Might be a good idea to run a dedicated hot wire back there.

This is true however I am buying a fuel system this week that has a hotwire that goes to the pumps so this should be fine. Until then I will not go WOT.

Here's the pics, keep in mind the hose clamps will be replaced with band clamps (when the right size gets here) and the duct from the pipe to the MAF will need to be replaced with one that fits better. Also a new airfilter and cover are in the mail, the that's on there is temporary.

It can be raised up another 1 to 1 1/2 inches in which I need to do, just minor adjustments here and there. As far as producing the kit I thought about it, however I cut a couple of pieces to get mine to come through this location. I plan to put a modified lid over it to hide everything (notice how low the BOV sits etc. You can bring it up in front of the radiator on the drivers side as well.

Very cool!

I'm interested to see how it works out. I'm now using a GT67 with a .96 exhaust housing and so far I'm told it spools really nice. Better than the GT67 and T70 setup on the other 2 cars they are working on.

Keep us updated
