Ok guys, I just got a call from my dyno guy and my car is finished. He fixed the timing problem I was having but now my 255 fuel pump has ran out of steam. Here is what my car did at 5.5 pounds of boost. The dyno pull started at 2400 rpms and it hit 400 rwtq at only 2700 rpms, it hit 467 rwtq at 3600 rpms and stayed there until 5250 when it started dropping off. He managed to get 498 rwhp at 6000 rpms and he said he could probably do better through the whole range if I put an inline fuel pump on. Another thing that I love about this kit is that whith the upgraded turbo (t67 instead of t60) my IAT's were only 125 degrees with no meth injection or intercooler. I am going to pick the car up tomorrow and if i can figure out how to post the dyno graph I will post it right away. I can't wait.

Going from a well performing SC kit to an STS kit?

That's like throwing away steak to eat hamburger helper.

yea, it really sucks to make 498 @5.5psi. C'mon people, give it a rest.
I have not heard of anyone with an STS that was not happy.

Extremely well put. To make this argument simple. I do not know sh*t about working on these cars and me and my buddy installed this kit in about 7 hours. Show me another kit on the market for 3700 dollars that can make 498 rwhp and be installed in 7 hours by someone that doesn't know what they are doing but hey thanks for your comments.

The numbers are always awesome. I'm not knocking the kit, and in fact, I've even admitted to being impressed by it for the cost and simplicity. My QMP took more than a few hours to install. BUT... Where's the track numbers? I've seen one or two from trucks, but I haven't seen much supporting data from the 1320.

A 3800 lb F-body should be running mid-11s at around 124 with 500 at the tire. I haven't seen ANY ETs or MPH even remotely close to this. Why?

Just askin', so don't be touchy, MmmmK?

The kit hasn't been out long enough.I'm waiting on 2 kit's and they will be track tested after install. The track #'s will more go by torque #'s rather than HP #'s.A feel of a turbo isn't like a supercharger.

You were making more power N/A than most of the STS guys were making.

So don't give me that $3700 BS.

No he wasn't. Show me an N/A dyno sheet that shows as much power UNDER THE CURVE as a turbo with similar power.....

everyone can say what they want but I will prove or disprove this kit real soon, check my sig for current setup and numbers, by next month we will know what an sts gt70 with front mount will be able to put down and run at the track. Either way I will supply the truth.

That would be nice, but then there will still be people that will agrue about it... Even if it hit 700hp.

Something new is being tried and this kit is being experimented with. As stated again and again and again, this turbo setup wasn't introduced to be a Dyno queen or a 1/4 mile monster. It was invented for trucks for power under the curve, gas milage, pump gas, nice street maners and so on.

I would like to make an observation, you notice that most of the "HATERS" don't have any type of forced induction on their car and have yet to discredit the kit's merits.

You'll even notice that some of the BIG dawgs are giving the kit Kudo's.
Has anyone ever read about any dissatisfied STS owners?
Has anyone ever read about an STS owner claiming that their system is more efficient than other FI kits?

It really is starting to look like STS (*****) envy, or complete ignorance.
Just my thoughts.
/sarcastic I am soooooo dissappointed that I spent $3700 on my STS kit /sarcastic
Just about as much as I am dissapointed in my Koni shocks.

5-litre, ignore the , congrats on your system and have fun.

the point we have yet to see someone dissatisfied is a great one.

that is a huge accomplishment for STS to date.

I am a picky SOB so lets see if they can keep their streak alive

so far so good but I am barely into the install of the actual kit.

Look forward to posting some numbers in the next month myself, I will be posting before and after dynojet numbers and track numbers. In current form the car runs consistant 12.60's @ 108 so it's deffinately no pavement pounder but not a total slouch. My set-up will be a T70 with intercooler, 42lb injectors, and 340 walbro. It is also an A4 so it has that working against it I just spoke with a very reputable hometown shop today about tuning and I'm hoping they will be doing the tuning. A few days ago I spoke with a hater tuner that said it wouldn't do any better than 60-70 hp and realized he was not where I was going to spend my $550. What kind of proof will I have to have to settle this dispute??? I can video my track runs and dyno runs and I'll get pictures of the install.

LOL @ stupidity

He doesn't have an STS kit.

He has a SC making 630 rwhp.

Now when someone is making 600+ with an STS, I'll be the first in line to get one.
