Default What times are all of you running with the STS kit?

I am saving up for the sts kit and hope to get in around tax return time . Anyway. Just looking for some input from those of you that already have the kit. Basically just looking for your performance statistics, including track times and dyno numbers. Any information would be great. Also if there is anyone in the Northern VA area that has an STS fbody, I would love to arrange a get together so I can check it out in person. Thanks in advance.

I ain't proud. ya'll can talk whatever smack you want

I started off running 108mph and low 12s on my G-Timer but a few days ago I started running 12.6-12.7@103-105mph on the timer so I took it to the track and sure enough I ran a best of 12.86@103.4mph 1.84 60' with a best mph of 104.9. I feel it is horrible for how much boost I was running but hopefully I'll figure out what happend to make me drop so much mph and ET between 2 weeks ago and now. My best 18th mile was 7.99@85mph but the run was ended by a intake tube popping off.

Ohh, I weighed the truck and it was 4950 without me in it and 1/4 tank of gas.

My current mods are GT67 turbo @13psi, 226/220 cam, FMIC, gutted cats, custom tuning and AFR at 10.5 in 3rd gear.

Here is a Vid of 2 of my launches. TYhe runs were cut short when I blew off the intake tube.

Buckin 4x4

i'll try to get things fixed and post back up soon.

Thx mate. Makes me feel good after being dissapointed that my G-Timer was telling me the truth and that something was indeed wong

The first 60' was a 2.0 due to all the bouncing around. I launched at 8psi.

The 2nd run was a 1.84 60' and the 7.99@85mph 1/8th mile. The weird thing is people were telling me that they think I was spinning the tires down the track because you could hear this squeeling noise most of the way down. I could hear it to but I don;t think it was bad enough to kill more than a couple MPH. Staying in 4wd the whole 1/4mile doesn't help either. LOL

That's still great in a BIG truck. I hope you get some great gains with the bugs fumigated...

I'm an STS dealer in bham, Al. I have the prototype STS kit on my Reg Cab Chevy truck with Nelson tuning. It runs 8.70 in 1/8 and 13.80 in 1/4, so far. Thats on street tires, so I have to baby it out of the off the line. Should be able to get low to mid 13's when I put slicks on it. If your interested in prices, options or have any questions, check out my web site.
