Another take on a FMIC install-pics
I have to give thanks to frcefed98 for pioneering this mounting method as it works fantastic!

All I need now is to see some IAT's with 10+ boost and what it looks like on a camaro and I might be tempted to buy one

slow, I have not run the pipes yet. Still keeping the G-trim for now.The pipes will be a straight forward install. Inlet to intercooler will run from blower to pass side of intercooler through the hole left by the coolant tank like others have done. Outlet will take a 180' bend and run behind the stock air dam back to the pass side up through the the same hole as the inlet and to the T.B. Will be no problem at all doing the piping.
I'm tapped out right now so have to wait on buying all the mandrel bends I need.
I would imagine it flows fairly well as it has 3" inlets and smooth flowing cast tanks. I think it's rated to about 800hp.
I'm going to install the fog lights. I like the look better with them in.
I need a front plate in Illinois. There is PLENTY of room for the plate to swing inward and fully out of the way. So I'll just get a hinge assembly and a control cable and make a 007 license plate control.

I'll take pics when I do it.
Yes I did all my own welding, cutting etc in my Home garage.
I used my 14" chop saw and a 4.5" angle grinder with cutoff disk for the bumper mods.
I used a sawzall with long *** blade for the front foam cutting.
I weld with a 155 amp Century Mig.

. I'll certainly check out e-bay. After all that's where I got the intercooler.
Do you have a link to the seller where you got your pipes?
it's just how I am mounting it is a little bit different.
I am going for maximum ground clearance for my piping as the STS kit hangs a wee bit low so I got the intercooler up another 1.5 - 2" inches higher than what you guys did. This way I can keep the pipe that goes into the intercooler as high as possible for as long as possible. It will all make sense when you see the finished product.
