Default My block was cracked....

at a lowsy 4 psi, HPE said teh block is cracked on the CYL that blew.....

how the hell can a block crack at 4 psi .... Im dumbfounded and pissed off lol

well I already have all teh parts for a damn stock aluminum block or I would go ahead with iron at this point. Makes it even more difficult.

How can the block have cracked so easily? I can't see it have been making more hten 500-550 flywheel hp. Car trapped 120 on 4 psi of boost, must have been weighing close to 3900 lbs with me in it.

I didn't even hear any detonation.... it didn't pull timing, seemed like it just let go lol

it ran extremely lean...stock tune hehe

lean will do it.....I wouldn't go iron. Put some forged pistons in new block and invest in some tuning.
fuel/tuning is THE most important thing with forced induction...I doubt you will hear anyone say differently.
