Default 12 PSI 93 OCT. 10 to 1 CR Stock motor?

What do you guys think of 12 psi on 93 octain? stock motor stock compression. As rich and as little timing as needed. Has any one done this before to say it can't be done?

Matters what the intake temp is on the 12psi.. I was running 12psi yesterday with A/F at 11-1 with no problems, but that was with a blower that peaked at 12psi.

I did it but had to run such low timing (8*) the car didn't like it. ran like crap and actually made more power at 9psi and 15* timing.

Isnt that a little too much boost for stock internals?

No way, I ran between 10-14psi all the time for about 25k miles on a 50k mile motor! when i pulled it apart, it was FINE!!!!! i couldnt believe it, but it was fine! i did my oil after every trip to the track, and plugs the same, and i kept up with my tune every month or 2, and it ran great for a long time. kind of wish i never took it apart to be honist with you.

The answer is IT DEPENDS.

You did not say what combination you have.

Most stock engine + FI setups would have problems at 12 psi, really over 10 psi any off the shelf kit either turbo or supercharger will be running hot.

Now if you are running a nice big FMIC with a stock kit of some kind I would say that you might be able to get it to work.
