STS turbo SFC problem. HELP
Another thing. Saw your post about getting some track times w/o tuning.
Its your car, but I wouldnt. IMHO.
the intake piping replaces the sfc, and for the love of god dont run your car till its tuned.Fry
The STS piping acts like a subframe connector. You have to take off your existing driver side subframe and install the STS one.It is just as strong.(I weld them instead of bolt-in)
I would never run this kit at WOT without tuning/fueling upgrades!!It needs atleast 10 degree's of timing taken out and the stock fuel injectors run out at 3lbs of boost.

Are your SFC weld in or bolt on? If they are weld in and you absolutely must use the drivers side, then your only option is to get a new pipe fabricated to go around the SFC. But honestly all you need is the STS pipe, it was designed to take the place of the SFC. Sure, a weld in SFC will be slightly stronger, but unless you are running 9's, I wouldn't worry about it.
Do not race until you determine your AFR is correct and that you are not getting knock! You dont necessarily need a tune, but most likely will..

I wonder if it's possible to fab up a connector that would work around the tubing?
good luck,
