Sts Track Times (finally)
First pass at 5lbs I ran 7.8 at 96mph and a 2.02 60ft.
At 7lbs I ran a 7.7 at 99mph and a 2.02 60ft.
This was with no tune.
I was dissapointed at my 60ft, on nitrous i used to run a 1.7 60ft. But that is to be expected with a turbo. I am very happy with my setup and i know once i make it out to a 1/4 mile track i will be putting the smack down. I want to say thanks to TRTTURBO.

Seems like some STS owners got tired of all the "no track times" posts and went out and made it happen.

I assume you had slicks. Did you try building boost off the line or just lanuch off idle?
KLR WS6's car comes on unbelievably strong in boost. There was another F-body car he raced that got him bad off the line, but that was it. He said he couldnt believe how fast he passed him.
Everyone keep in mind this car has a stock convertor so he will easily be even faster with a stall.

98mph in the 1.4 is much differen than 98mph in the 1/8th
Welcome
I'll be running a .005 over LS1 with Eagle forged rods, Diamond Racing turbo pistons (should come out to about 9:1), LS6 cam/valvesprings, custom-ported heads, Lucas 42.5 lb injectors, a Walbro 255 lph inline fuel pump, custom PCM tune by Nelson, and a TCI 3500 SSF converter. My STS setup is the base T60/.81 AR, and I'll be running w/methanol at the highest boost the setup will support within it's efficiency range. (10-12 psi?)
I'll post numbers and try to get a video or two. Hopefully, I'll make a couple of good passes before I break my 10-bolt rear end.

nice times!
