Have the motor.6.0l iron block with full Lunati rotating assembly.Thinking about going with a D1SC or an F1R.Going with 6.0 heads to lower comp. Also going to see if I can exchange my pistons with some lower comp ones. One of my ?'s is what cam??????? This is going to be a street driver.Like to high speed race and corners.Looking to get at least 650rwhp.So any help would be great.Cam,D1SC or F1R???? Any other helpful ideas would be great.Been on this forum for a while ,but swapped computers and forgot my old password so had to re-register.TIA

F1R is serious overkill for a 650 RWHP. The D1sc can handle that easy. I have read so many different opinion on cam selection. I went with a single pattern off the shelf cam and Im doing just fine. If you have a budget Id spend teh money on a FMIC and a one off blower brackets ect... My motor is far from exotic and I hope to be putting up at least 40 more rwhp once we get all the bugs worked out.

BTW. A F1r will not fit with the camro kit brackets.

I have a similar setup. I would definately go with the F1r, d1sc is great and will get you 650 it did me, but why limit it there? I wish I had gone ahead and gotten the f1r

The F1r should start at a 850 rwhp set up.

I have the same motor and a D-1sc. My cam is a 234/238 595/605 114 LSA. Seems to work good but I don't have anything to compare to. Sounds awesome but still streetable. Andy at A&A is who I got the cam from. As far as blower, I wish I would have gotten the f-1 but I was on the stock motor at the time so the D-1sc was plenty. Right now I'm waiting to get my 8-rib back from sc-concepts to see how much boost I can get out of the D-1sc.
