Hi Guys,
I'm happy to answer whatever questions anyone has. I'm still putting my car back together for the final time, so the actual RWHP numbers, and actual 1/4 mile times are not far off. We are working on a website, which will be up and operational as soon as possible, but there is a lot involved. Basically we want to get every last thing up and running before we open up so that we will be prepared to handle customers requests.
If anyone wants pics of the actual amount of material cut from the cowl, PM me, the engine is out right now so I can take some detail pics and email them.
If you have other questions, post up or PM me and I will do my best to answer.

Hi HP!
To be honest to you i never saw any big deal in cutting that little part out!
We did that to our 3rd gen tunnelram monster years ago to fit a distributer and to have a faster access to that spot at the track.
Attension Joke starts!
Ok as LS1 Tech is visited by lots of IT CEO´s who love to race but dont know anything about wrenching just make the two pieces
that their garages/shops need to weld the spot part of the deal and those TV – wrenchers will be happy!
Attension Joke ends!
The ATI crowd is cutting bumbers and bumber supports to fit FMIC so i dont see any problem to cut that spot as long as
Its welded back safe with two pieces of metal.
On our car the wiper didnt show any big movement even without the weld back action!
The magna is a start i guess and i´ll see more blowers like Lysholm comming up soon!
The Hood space saga is crappy to, lots of third gen Pro Street Blowers out there with no “runway view”
On our double carbed Tunnelram track car with big bug catcher “street view” was limited but we drove the sucker to
events on wheels to prove all those 4 banger bimmer fools that V8 power rules in Germany too.
IC or without IC?
What tune?
Injector size?
Are you going the “Speartech route”.....???
I see a low 9.XX without hazzel on a lite fbody with some psi...Nine Ball ´s heavy cruiser and Speartechs monster both
In the battle ship weight class already proof the power of this set up!
The always upcomming topic with the blower loosing power due to heat could be once and for all send to the grave yard
With a top IC cooling sys.
If you look at the HARD CORE Boys car it shows everyone what cooling a Monster needs to battle the talkers and make real bad power!
Do you think the 550 HP zone is the last word on the 112 MP eaton????
How about two eaton 112????
Tell me what you thing about the magna intake ....better blower swap.

in the pic a GERMAN V8 Blower "cooled" yahhhh that motor screams!
Problem with Benz and Bimmers and Porsch ...????....you can buy a house for
what they charge ya!

As the CEO of my company I refuse to cut my cowl. The ROI just isn't respectable and we are not budgeted for that level of TCO. ![Icon Rolleyes](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_rolleyes.gif)
Then again maybe it just looks like ****...

The only part of that I understood was the last sentence!
Trust me, when you see the finished product with the plastic cowl trim in place, you'll like it.
We're working all of the bugs out of the final prototype kit so that when it is ready, it will be super easy to install & run, and very complete & detailed. I would rather spend a bunch of my time than waste yours figuring out all of the little details that are usually left out of "kits"
Have you ever bought a blower kit, and had a problem with the install, and when you call the manufacturer or dealer they say " oh yeah, we have 4 different versions of a repair kit, which problem do you have? I'll send you the proper repair"
I have, and I hate that crap, so when we were developing this kit, the 2 main things it had to have are: 1. it comes with EVERYTHING you will need to install & enjoy it and it will work properly. 2. It must come with clear, easy to follow instructions that the average car guy can use to properly install his kit
I know it's taken forever, but if it performs like I know it will it will be worth the wait!
All PM's and e-mails replied to

I would rather replace the cutout piece of the cowl with metal and weld it, paint it, clear it, call it a day. I'll take a look at any pictures if you feel like pm'ing them to me.

That's what I used, I bonded it in with a strong 2 part epoxy, but welding and doing some body work is definatly an option. The kit will come with a pre- formed piece of sheet metal, and a template for the cut.
