Prove it. Post pics of it
Here's a C5 with LG LT's, Vararam, Cam and the Magnacharger Kit. The Maggie can't support much more power then that. It can't pump enough CFM.

Here's a graph of a Twin Screw 03 Cobra. How are you going to beat a Twin Screw Cobra with an Eaton LS1 when the Eaton really can't produce over 500rwhp?

OK guys, were all friends here, and this has been a big debate for a long time.
Do you have a graph of the Cobra that shows HP and TQ? then we could see a pretty accurate comparison. The twin screw is definately capable of making more boost, the problem is there isn't a manifold, and all of the other
necessary parts available to mount it on an LS1. This Eaton based kit is not the end all solution, but it gets you in the ballpark.

Whats the latest on this kit? I just tuned in. I read the whole thread. I saw a Magnuson on a vette at the track last week and now im hooked.
I have no problem cutting a small piece on the cowl or the bottom of my hood.
Is Magnuson still working on this blower for the f-body?

I wonder if a stock WS6 hood would work or that US Exotic outlaw WS9 hood would work, i dont mind cutting the cowl and 500-600rwhp is pretty good and all that lowend torque and power has my vote. what would be some of the risks with going non i/c??

The risk will be detonation. As you probably know, as air is compressed it is heated and a hotter charge will cause detonation quicker than a cooler charge. So the IC version will be able to run a cooler, denser charge at the same boost level, which will be safer for your motor and achieve more power. You could run more boost safer too.
BTW, if i could hit around 425hp and similar tq with this kit and LT's ill be happy, just for everyone that thinks we are all trying to build 500+hp cars.

The point of a roots blower is instant throttle response, and massive lowend grunt.
