CAS owners chime in
Mine was different than the rest I beleive, as mine was designed for Tom Izzo (Speed Inc shop car) and built for larger turbos as it has a stepped down pipe (up from 2.5 to 3"). Some early ones have a different waste gate design. I dont think there are more than 6 or 7, but could be wrong. A-Dee-O also has one on his car.

not many tho, they where a good kit, if i didnt have my new setup i would scoop one, or if i had the extra $$$ id buy it for future toy. oh well.
I am selling mine (Noyzee's old kit) for personal reasons. It has nothing to do with the kit iteself. I don't know about the other guys. Believe me I wish I could keep mine, and may have to as no one seems to want it, so it will go in a closet for awhile. Also, I think it is just coincidence that all the CAS kits are up for sale lately. Not to mention they are all different in some way -- Jammer's old kit was the BIG kit, 69's kit is brand new, and mine is used but has had the bugs worked out of it by Noyzee when he owned it. Im thinking about making my CAS headers out of mild steel and having them jet hot coated inside and out to keep the heat out of the metal. Stainless has a 5 to 1 expansion ratio when compared to mild steel. Only down side to mild steel is if its not coated it wont last long.
I tried to borrow classics extra header so i could take measurements off of it but he wont let me. My plan is to reproduce the CAS kit....with attention to solving the cracking header problem and get the thing into production and back on the market. Someone needs to make a twin setup and it might as well be me.
Ive been thinking about using cast iron manifolds so they last a long time. A buddy of mine at work use to make sand cast molds for a living. All i would need to do is cut the mold out on my cnc mill and give it to the local shop to have them cast. Then they would go on my mill and have the surfaces machined and holes drilled and tapped. Might also get the cost of the kit down because there would be no need to use 321 stainless. Maybe on the down pipe but thats no biggy.
My goal is to make this kit rock solid so daily driver people can enjoy it without wrenching on it every weekend.
I wish i could find somebody that has a set of manifolds off there car so i could measure them. I will trade a billet heater control/headlight **** set and a billet e brake handle (200 bucks worth) if someone will let me borrow there HOT parts for a month for measurement purposes only. I will pay shipping both ways. Come on guys help a turbo junky out. I really want to get these kits on the market so people can actually buy a new twin turbo without getting screwed from some crappy company. I run a parts business and customer service is always number 1. I have low overhead because all my machines are paid for.
What sizes of pipe are the manifolds and down pipes made from?
to bad i dont have the cash to buy one of these kits from someone. to damn poor right now.
that said the only issue i had was cracking headers, they seemed to crack right on the welds, everytime i took it apart it had cracks. it took a while tho, i had many miles on it at a time. Only atention the kit needs IMO is the IC needs to be sitting up streight insted of laid back, and the drivers side header needs to be adjusted for eas of plug changes. other then that it was a nice kit.
No offence to yoy, but i think you will be hard pressed to find anyone willing to send you a set of headers to borrow unless they know you well. you have a lowwer post count, and not much backround. dont take it wrong, im just saying its hard to give up parts like that to someone you have no idea about.
either way. good luck
not saying youd do that, just too big of a risk for someone that has invested the cash already
